Apple’s fourth quarter was its best quarter ever. Why, one wonders…. The iMacs haven’t been updated in ages, they’re equipped with old slow video cards and more of last year’s technology. The same goes for the Apple Mac Mini and the Mac Pro. Who is going to spend 2400 euros on a Mac Pro that has technology that you can get in every low end pc these days?

Then there’s the laptop line of products. The MacBook is ok, if you don’t mind the resolution of next year’s cell phones. 1280×800… The 15″ MacBook Pro has a severe problem with its most important GPU, the 9600M. Just google MacBook Pro and 9600M to see all the reports.

I want a Mac, but there currently just isn’t one that’s worth buying in my opinion. The 17″ with matte screen will be great, but it’s not on sale yet…
