I’ve been toying with Windows 7 for a while now and I must say it’s pretty ok. I’ve installed it on one of my laptops. With XP and Ubuntu it felt a bit sluggish, but now it is quite smooth. It feels so good and stable I’ve started developing software on it. It’s a beta, but I feel I can trust it. I do have trust issues with the drives in my desktop. They’re both Seagates and it turns out they might be specimen from a batch of last year that has severe issues. I will have to look into this. I don’t want to lose all my data.
